Raj Chakraborty’s upcoming directorial venture 'Hok Kolorob' is slated to hit theatres on January 23. The film’s teaser was released on Christmas, building early buzz among audiences. However, even before its theatrical release, clips from certain scenes have reportedly gone viral on social media, with some visuals allegedly circulating on mobile phones. The development has raised concerns for the director, who is understandably worried about the premature spread of the film’s content.

Raj made a social media post requesting people not to share the viral links of the film's scenes. He wrote, "Some footage of our film 'Hok Kolorob' has spread on social media even before the film's release. We have spoken to the cybercrime department to take urgent action on this matter. We request that you not share the link. Do not fall for any kind of provocation. Thank you."

Many have suspected a conspiracy in this incident. Again, some feel it's entirely part of the publicity campaign.

Student movement is the main theme of this film. The film's hero is Rohan Bhattacharya. Besides Rohan, the film features Om Sahni, John Bhattacharya, Abhika Malakar, along with familiar faces from small and big screens, as well as newcomers.

Additionally, Swashata Chattopadhyay and MLA Partha Bhowmik are in important roles.
