Football fans planning to watch the FIFA World Cup 2026 on ZEE5 may need to check their subscriptions carefully. While many users already access the platform through Premium memberships or telecom bundles, ZEE5 has clarified that the tournament will not be included in these existing plans. To stream the World Cup, viewers will have to purchase a dedicated FIFA World Cup 2026 package.
Existing subscriptions won't include World Cup access
ZEE5 has announced that access to the FIFA World Cup 2026 will be available only through special tournament packs. This means that users with a regular ZEE5 Premium subscription will not automatically be able to watch the matches.

The same rule applies to customers who access ZEE5 through bundled offers from telecom operators and OTT partners. Even if a user receives ZEE5 as part of a package from providers such as Airtel, Jio or Vi, a separate FIFA World Cup subscription will still be required to stream the tournament.

There’s no need of buying the ₹799 plan.
NB: There will be no 4K support. It will stream at 1080p.
The clarification comes ahead of the biggest edition of the FIFA World Cup, which will feature an expanded format and a record number of matches.
Dedicated FIFA packs available on ZEE5

Fans who want uninterrupted access to the FIFA World Cup 2026 will need to purchase one of the dedicated tournament packs before the competition begins.
