The murder of a young businessman from Pune has taken a startling turn after his fiancée, who allegedly confessed to killing him along with her lover, was found to have posted an emotional tribute to him on Instagram days after his death.
Ketan Agarwal, 25, a real estate director from Gahunje near Pune, died on June 18 after falling into a gorge at Lohagad Fort near Lonavala. Initially treated as an accidental fall while taking photographs, the case later unfolded into an alleged murder conspiracy.
Instagram story goes viral
Following Ketan's death, his fiancée Siya Goyal, 20, reportedly shared an Instagram story expressing grief over his passing.
The post featured clips of Ketan and the couple together, accompanied by a romantic song. In the story, she wrote:
"You left me on my birthday. You left when we were so close to getting married. I still can't understand why you did this to me. I had dreams, questions I'll never get answers to. Why did you leave me when I loved you so much? Rest in peace."

The post has since gone viral as details of the investigation emerged.
Police claim murder was planned
According to investigators, Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary, 22, were allegedly involved in a relationship for about a year. Police said Siya did not wish to go ahead with her marriage to Ketan and allegedly viewed him as an obstacle.
Officials claim the duo planned Ketan's murder and later confessed to their involvement in the crime.

Family alleges earlier attempt
Ketan's father, Vishal Agarwal, has alleged that the accused had earlier attempted to kill his son on June 14 but failed.
"They took him back to the fort on June 18 to execute the crime. I strongly believe that Sia Goyal’s parents, brother, and paternal aunt could also be involved, as they knew everything from the very beginning. I hope that everyone else involved in this heinous crime is also brought to justice,"Hindustan Times quoted him as saying.
Vishal Agarwal also said that Ketan had earlier expressed concerns about Siya and Chetan's relationship.
