Manipur security forces arrest alleged KKYL member

In Thoubal district, security forces arrested an active cadre of the Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup (KKYL). The accused, identified as Khumanthem Santosh Meitei (36), alias Kanta, a resident of Heirok Part-I, Heituppokpi, was picked up on Friday from Kairembikhok Mamang Leikai Chingdum under Thoubal Police Station. Delhi Metro's Magenta Line all set to become longest corridor of India with 65 stations

The Magenta Line (Line-8) of the Delhi Metro network is set to become the longest corridor in the system. The recently sanctioned Phase -V (A) corridor, namely the Line 8 (Magenta Line) extension from Ramakrishna Ashram Marg to Indraprastha (via Central Vista), and the Indraprastha-Inderlok corridor of Phase -IV shall be enforced as an elongation of the Magenta Line.

₹5 crore fine, engineer suspended after Mumbai Metro accident

The Maharashtra government has taken strict action following a fatal accident at an under-construction Metro site in Mulund on Saturday. One person was killed, and three others were injured after a Metro pillar collapsed. In response, the state has suspended an engineer linked to the project and imposed a ₹5 crore fine on the contractor responsible for the construction work.
