Raghav Chadha responds to allegations after Rajya Sabha removal

Raghav Chadha on Saturday issued a strong response after being removed as the Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) deputy leader in the Rajya Sabha, pushing back against what he called a "coordinated campaign" against him.

In a video posted on X, Chadha said, "Since yesterday, a scripted campaign is running against me. This is not a coincidence but a coordinated attack. At first, I thought I should not respond to such allegations. But then I thought a lie told a thousand times may be interpreted as truth by some people."

IMD predicts heavy rain and thunderstorms today in Delhi today

Friday night, April 3, brought relief to Delhi from the heat with heavy rains lashing the city. The situation is expected to worsen on Saturday as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted thunderstorms and lightning. Glorifying criminals on screen ‘spoiled generations’: CM Yogi’s sharp attack on Bollywood

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken a jibe at Indian films that heroically portray criminals and villains, saying that it has ‘spoiled’ generations, according to Hindustan Times. Yogi said Bollywood movies consider dacoits and criminals as role models. The CM called upon filmmakers to produce content that inspires society, cautioning against glorifying negative characters. Delhi mandates PNG application for commercial LPG supply

Under a directive by the Department of Food, Supplies and Consumer Affairs, consumers in Delhi must now apply for a PNG connection before being given new allocations of LPG cylinders. The order, issued on Thursday, amends Clause 3.4 of the revised commercial LPG policy dated March 26. According to the notice, LPG will only be provided to consumers who apply for a PNG connection with Indraprastha Gas Limited in areas where there is PNG infrastructure. For those living in areas where there is no PNG infrastructure, they are supposed to submit a written undertaking stating that they will migrate to the PNG network once it becomes available. Delhi plans 13 RTOs revival to improve public access

The Delhi transport department is planning to reopen 13 regional transport offices (RTOs), aligning one office with each district, as part of a restructuring exercise aimed at improving public access to services. Officials familiar with the development said the move is intended to complement the city’s existing faceless services model by restoring physical access points for residents who require in-person assistance. At present, only four RTOs, located at Mall Road, Sarai Kale Khan, Mayur Vihar and Dwarka, are operational for physical services.
