Ranveer Singh's blockbuster ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ has won hearts worldwide, and with the movie entering its third week, it has registered a jump of over 20% domestically, reported Hindustan Times.
Aditya Dhar’s spy thriller has not only gained humongous success at the box office but also led other films to revise their release dates; for example, Akshay Kumar’s and Priyadarshan’s Bhoot Bangla has been postponed by a week to give "theatrical space" to Dhurandhar 2. The huge success of Dhurandhar 2 marked their net margin of ₹1,500 crore, HT stated in its report.
Box office update
Dhurandar 2 has now crossed the net margin of the ₹1000 crore mark worldwide in its first week. The film broke all box-office records in its first weekend, registering net earnings of more than ₹100 crore in its first three opening days. The momentum carried over to the second week as well.
Now, it has been the third consecutive weekend Dhurandhar 2 has been dominating the box office. On Friday, its 16th day in theatres, the spy thriller earned ₹21.55 crore net domestically, marking a 20% jump from its Thursday haul of ₹18.30 core, signifying promising signs for the film as it nears a historic ₹1,000 crore net in India, HT reported. After Friday, Dhurandhar 2 has earned around ₹959 crore net margin in India.
Overseas, the film has been an equally big phenomenon. It had a strong $7 million start, ranking in over $2 million in its first weekend internationally. In its second week, it crossed the $30 million mark even as daily earnings dipped below the $1 million a day mark. Dhurandhar 2 added just over $500k in the overseas markets on Friday. The film is not only dominating the Indian screens but also the overseas screens.
As per the box office performance, Dhurandhar 2’s global gross earnings now stand at ₹1,523 crore. It is steadily closing in on Pushpa 2 with ₹1,724 crore and Baahubali 2 with ₹1,788 crore. Given it has a solid third weekend, it can reach that mark before the end of this month.

However, it may not reach the ₹2,000 crore mark or overtake Aamir Khan's Dangal as the highest-grossing Indian film of all time. The 2016 release had earned ₹2,070 crore worldwide, driven by a windfall in China.
All about Dhurandar 2
Dhurandar 2 is the sequel to the spy thriller Dhurandar, which was released in theatres in December 2025. Apart from Ranveer Singh, Dhurandhar 2 also brings back R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the spy thriller released on the March 19. The first Dhurandhar earned ₹1,300 crore worldwide and is still playing in theatres three months after its December release.
