Nida Khan, an HR manager linked to TCS’s Nashik unit, has been arrested in a case involving allegations of workplace sexual harassment and coercion. Police and investigators say the matter is still under investigation.
She was arrested on April 10 after multiple women employees filed complaints alleging sexual harassment, threats, and coercion, according to The Free Press Journal. Investigators, including the Special Investigation Team (SIT), have identified her as a key figure and consider her role central to the alleged lapses in complaint handling.

Who is Nida Khan?
The Week reports that Khan was in charge of handling employee complaints and making sure the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) regulations were followed. According to the report, she did not elevate the issue to higher authorities after an employee emailed her about the alleged harassment.
Khan, in her early 30s, has Pune links, where police searched during the investigation. While based in Nashik, officials are reviewing her movements between cities. Her LinkedIn profile, widely shared after the case, lists Savitribai Phule Pune University as her alma mater and notes her TCS association.
Police have registered eight FIRs between March 26 and April 3 at the Devlali and Mumbai Naka police stations, with charges that include sexual harassment, stalking, outraging modesty, and offenses linked to religious feelings.
TCS says swift action taken
TCS stated that it has long adhered to a zero-tolerance policy regarding harassment and coercion. “As soon as we were made aware of the matter in Nashik, we took swift action,” the company said.
