Samrat Choudhary has been elected as the BJP legislative party leader in Bihar, clearing the way for him to become the state's next Chief Minister.
With Samrat Choudhary set to take oath on Wednesday, attention has turned to his financial details. According to election affidavits, Choudhary and his family together hold assets worth over Rs 11 crore. These disclosures, submitted as part of mandatory filings, provide a breakdown of both movable and immovable property, per Oneindia report.

When the properties held by the spuse are added, the total stands at approximately Rs 11.34 crore.
Breakdown of personal assets
Choudhary's individual net worth is declared at around Rs 4.85 crore. Of this, movable assets account for close to Rs 99 lakh. These include bank deposits, cash, and other financial holdings, with Rs 28.45 lakh listed under bank balance and cash alone.
He also owns a vehicle reportedly valued at Rs 7 lakh and a licensed weapon worth Rs 6 lakh.
A larger share of his wealth lies in immovable property. Land and residential buildings are reportedly valued at nearly Rs 3.86 crore, forming the core of his declared assets.
Wife's assets form major share
A significant portion of the family's wealth is held by his spouse, Kumari Mamta. Her declared assets amount to about Rs 5.78 crore, which is higher than Choudhary's individual holdings.

Her movable assets are reportedly valued at approximately Rs 27.89 lakh, including Rs 12.10 lakh in bank balance and cash. The bulk of her wealth, however, is tied to immovable property. Land and housing assets in her name are recorded at over Rs 5.50 crore. No vehicle or weapon is listed under her name in the affidavit.
Together, the couple's combined assets reach around Rs 11.34 crore. The data shows that most of the wealth is concentrated in land and property, while liquid assets form a smaller portion.
