The little ones at home are the most excited about the festival of colors. The children eagerly await playing Holi. The color play begins right after waking up. Parents must always stay alert. No matter how joyful the festival may be, accidents can happen in the midst of it all. Even though the festival is colorful, there's no way to avoid concerns. So to ensure children stay safe while playing with colors, you must definitely do these few things.

Buy herbal colors

Children's skin is soft and sensitive. Therefore, it's better not to use chemical colors. You can buy abir made from plant-based ingredients. This reduces the risk of skin damage. Additionally, if color gets into the eyes, there will be ways to avoid danger.

Keep them away from water

The joy of Holi lies in water guns and water-filled color balloons. But these same two things also bring danger. Using water guns and balloons creates the risk of colors getting into eyes and mouth. Moreover, throwing water-filled balloons can cause pain. Besides, playing colors in wet clothes increases the risk of fever and cold. So try to keep little ones away from watercolors.

Sunglasses are essential

Just wearing full-sleeved clothes won't suffice. Sunglasses are also essential. This will keep the child's eyes protected. The risk of colors getting into the eyes will reduce. Also, make the child wear a cap. This will prevent the face from burning in the sun. The sun's heat and watercolors combined can make children fall ill. So during color play, also ensure that the child drinks water frequently.
