But why just sip from a cup of hot chocolate or coffee? You can also bite into a hot chocolate lava cake. Avoid the hassle and make choco lava cake at home. Even without a microwave, it will work. You can make a choco lava cake on the gas stove itself. Your mood will change on winter evenings. Besides, everyone in the house, from young to old, will eat it with love.

Easy Recipe for Making Choco Lava Cake
Ingredients
1/2 cup cold or ice water, 3 tablespoons white oil, 1 teaspoon vanilla essence, 1/3 cup powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon lemon juice, 2 teaspoons cocoa powder, 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda and a pinch of salt. For the lava, you need 100 grams of dark chocolate and 3 teaspoons of butter. For dusting the mould, you'll need 1 teaspoon of butter and 2 tablespoons of flour.
Method
Take half a cup of cold water from the fridge in a bowl. Mix oil, lemon juice, powdered sugar and vanilla essence well in it. In another bowl, mix cocoa powder, flour, baking soda and a pinch of salt well.
Grease the cake mould with butter and keep it in the fridge to set. You can also use coffee cups to make the cake. Once the butter hardens in the mould or cup, dust it with flour. Then keep it in the fridge again.

Now, pour the cold water mixed with sugar and vanilla essence into the mixture of flour and cocoa powder. Beat the mixture well. Now, pour half of this cake batter into the mould or cup. Then add pieces of dark chocolate to it. Then pour the cake batter over it again. Now keep the moulds or cups in the fridge for one minute.
After this, heat water in a pot. Place a stand on top of it. Place the cake moulds or cups on top of this and cover. After steaming for about five minutes, turn off the gas. Remove the cover after another five minutes. The choco lava cake is ready. If making a choco lava cake in a microwave, just bake the cups with the batter for about two minutes.
