Lost nuclear bomb recovered off Spain (1966)

The Spanish government announced on April 7, 1966, that it had found a missing hydrogen bomb in the Mediterranean Sea. The bomb had dropped from the sky after an air collision occurred when a US B-52 bomber and a plane were doing refuelling midair in southern Spain some months before.
