The Indian team created history on Saturday after winning the second T20I against New Zealand with 28 balls to spare. It was the 6th time the Indian team had successfully chased down a 200+ target. The New Zealand team made 208 runs in 20 overs, with Santner playing a key role, scoring 47 runs in just 27 balls.
New Zealand came into the field with three changes, Tim Seifert joined the team and Zak Foulkes along with Matt Henry came into the line-up to add pace and power in the team.
The Indian team has also made two changes, Bumrah got a rest and Axar who got a hit in the previous match warmed the bench.
Left-handers went big for New Zealand
The Indian team won the toss and opted to bowl first. For New Zealand, Tim Seifert and Conway opened for them Seifert who made a comeback in the team took the role of aggressor scoring 24 runs in just 13 balls with five fours, while Conway hammered 19 runs in 9 balls with 3 fours and one six.
After that, a series of wickets put the pressure on New Zealand, and then a 55-run stand between Rachin Ravindra and Glenn Phillips helped the New Zealand side to end the powerplay with a 10 runs per over run rate.
It was the only fifty-run stand which Kiwi batters were able to form. The New Zealand captain's blistering 47 runs helped the Kiwis to put a 208-run total on the board. Harshit Rana who came in place of Bumrah went wicketless while Kuldeep Yadav was the only bowler to pick more than one wicket.
Ishan Kishan flew high while Surya reached the sky for one more time
Sanju Samson again had a bad outing as he failed to go big for the second time in the crease. The Indian team lost two wickets in 6 runs and then never looked back. Coming back in the team after two years, the Jharkhand superstar, Ishan Kishan hammered 11 fours and four sixes, to decorate his innings of 76 runs of 32 balls with a 237.5 strike rate. For Kishan it is important to use the short chances and he stood tall on that challenge.

Suryakumar Yadav regained his form and hammered a blistering 82 runs in just 37 balls and Shivam Dube posted 36 runs in 18 balls with the help of three six and 1 four. Ishan Kishan won the man of the match.
