Ducati India is preparing for a significant shift in its India strategy, combining a price increase with one of its most aggressive product rollouts in recent years. The company has confirmed that prices for select motorcycles will be revised upward from June, citing mounting operational pressures linked to inflation and rising input costs.
The move comes at a time when the premium motorcycle segment is witnessing steady demand, even as manufacturers grapple with higher production and logistics expenses. The revised pricing will be applicable across Ducati dealerships in the country.
Price correction amid rising costs
According to Ducati India, the decision to increase prices has been driven by sustained cost pressures across the supply chain. Rising commodity prices and inflation have impacted manufacturing and operational expenses, prompting the brand to implement a calibrated price correction.
While the hike will not affect every model, it will span multiple variants within Ducati’s portfolio. The company has positioned the revision as necessary to maintain product quality and brand standards in a competitive premium segment.
Strong pipeline of launches lined up
Alongside the price revision, Ducati is betting big on new products to sustain momentum in India. The brand recently introduced the Desmo450 MX and is now set to bring in a series of high-profile motorcycles over the course of the year.
Among the most anticipated arrivals is the Panigale V4 Lamborghini, a limited-edition model expected to draw strong interest from collectors. This will be followed by key updates across Ducati’s lineup, including the Monster V2, Hypermotard V2, DesertX V2 and the Multistrada V4 Rally, each targeting different riding segments from street performance to adventure touring.

Focus on exclusivity and brand appeal
Ducati is also leaning into exclusivity with special editions and ultra-limited models. The Superleggera V4 Centenario, expected in very limited numbers, has already seen all units pre-booked, underlining the brand’s strong appeal among high-end buyers.
