Google's Chrome is one of the most widely used web browsers around the world. However, the Indian government's Computer Emergency Response Team or CERT-IN has issued a warning for those who use Chrome in their day-to-day life.
CERT-IN recently published a notice stating that cybercriminals are targeting Chrome users on Windows or Mac. Criminals are doing this work worldwide to steal information from desktops or laptops, according to the CERT-IN report.

Questions about Chrome's security:
The CERT-IN's notice states that Google Chrome has multiple vulnerabilities, which cybercriminals are using to target users. Experts say that cybercriminals are bringing specially crafted fake webpages to users' systems, through which those machines are being hacked. This danger is greater in several versions of Chrome. What are they?
1. Google Chrome versions before 143.0.7499.146/.147 for Windows
2. Google Chrome versions before 143.0.7499.146/.147 for Mac
3. Google Chrome versions before 143.0.7499.146 for Linux
The warning states that this attack can target an individual or can also be done targeting an organisation. Cybercriminals are doing this work to take control of specific desktops and laptops or to steal specific information.
