MG Hector Facelift unveiled in India: Prices begin from Rs 11.99 lakh

The MG Hector Facelift comes with a new design and features, launched across variants.

MG Motor India has launched the facelifted MG Hector in the Indian market. The prices are expected to start from ₹11.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated SUV will come with subtle design changes, refreshed interiors, and feature additions, at the same time maintaining the existing engine options.

Exterior design updates

According to Carwale, the MG Hector facelift comes with a modified front profile with a redesigned grille, updated bumper styling, and tweaked LED lighting elements. The overall silhouette stays unchanged, and the new front end gives the SUV a more modern and aggressive appearance.

Interior and feature upgrades

The Hector facelift resumes with its premium cabin layout but receives minor changes. The highlight stays with the large touchscreen infotainment system, which is updated with improved connectivity features. MG has also added certain new options like refined trim finishes and enhanced comfort features across the select variants.

Engine and transmission options

The MG Hector facelift remains unchanged mechanically. It continues to be offered with the choice of a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 2.0-litre diesel engine. The transmission options contain a six-speed manual, CVT, and dual-clutch automatic, relying on the engine and variant.

Variants and pricing

The updated MG Hector is available in multiple variants, catering to a wide range of customers. The ex-showroom prices begin at ₹11.99 lakh and can increase depending on the preferred engine, gearbox, and feature set.

The MG Hector facelift continues to compete with SUVs like the Tata Harrier, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Mahindra XUV700. The dynamic features and competitive pricing will help MG to retain the Hector’s appeal in the mid-size SUV segment.
