Emmanuel Macron shared the tribute video on X, through which he reflects on glimpses of special moments of his India visit. From his meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and a breezy jog on the streets of Mumbai to relishing Indian cuisine, the video beautifully captured highlights of his diplomatic tour.

However, what truly created buzz on the internet was the track playing in the background. It was the title song from Aditya Dhar’s film Dhurandhar, Jogi. The track by MC Punjabi was originally released over two decades ago. Later, it was reworked by composer Shashwat Sachdev for Dhurandhar, featuring additional vocals by Hanumankind.

The French leader was scheduled to attend the ongoing AI Impact Summit 2026 in Delhi during his three-day visit to India. The summit brought together several global leaders and experts, including Sam Altman, Sundar Pichai, Dario Amodei, and others. During his address at Asia’s largest AI summit, President Macron praised India for its indigenously developed digital payment system, the Unified Payments Interface (UPI).
