Fans of comedian Zakir Khan were left worried after a Ramzan vlog shared by his younger brother showed him being admitted to Lilavati Hospital. The video, uploaded by his brother Arbaz Khan, briefly showed Zakir resting in a hospital room while the two watched a cricket match together. The clip quickly went viral on social media, with many fans asking about his health and posting messages like “Kya hua Zakir Khan ko?” and “Get well soon.”

What Zakir Khan said about his health

Addressing speculation about his health and his break from stand-up comedy, Zakir clarified that his condition is not as serious as rumours suggest.

“It will be a break of three, four, or five years to take care of my health and to sort out a few other things. So, everyone present here right now is very close to my heart,” he had said while announcing his hiatus earlier.

Later, responding to rumours about his health, he said, “Health thodi si hi kharab hai, bhot jyada kharab nahi hai. Tumne jo internet pe jo padha hai, wo jhuth hai.”

Viral Ramzan vlog sparks concern

The video that triggered the latest concern was part of a Ramzan vlog posted by Zakir’s younger brother, Arbaz Khan. In the vlog, Arbaz takes viewers inside the hospital room where Zakir was staying.

The hospital was identified as Lilavati after Zakir was seen wearing clothing printed with the hospital’s name. The clip soon circulated widely online, prompting fans to question why the comedian had been hospitalised.

Comments such as “Why is Zakir bhai in hospital?” and “Kya hua Zakir Khan ko?” flooded social media platforms as concerned followers sought updates about his health.

Watching cricket from the hospital

Despite being in the hospital, the vlog showed Zakir in a relaxed mood as he watched a cricket match with his brother. The video, filmed a few days ago, captured the duo enjoying an India vs England match during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

At one point in the clip, Zakir can be heard saying, “Match abhi fasa hua hai,” referring to the tense moment in the game.

While the brief glimpse reassured some fans that he appeared cheerful, many continued sending “Get well soon” wishes, hoping he recovers fully before Eid 2026.
