Popular actor Sushant Singh, who recently starred in Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2, and known for Sabdhan India show, has spoken up against late-night noise near his home in Andheri. A rooftop restaurant, Trove 9, located next to his residential building, has reportedly been blasting music past 10 pm.

Frustrated, Sushant shared a video on X (formerly Twitter), writing, “Dear Andheri’s Mumbai Police, this rooftop restaurant Trove 9, next to my residential building, has been blaring loud music for the last few nights past 10 pm. Is this legal?”

Netizens react

The post drew immediate online attention. One user wrote, “This is a clear violation of noise pollution norms 10 pm is the limit. Completely unfair to the residents living nearby. High time for some accountability.”

Another account handler added, “Wait for six more hours, some dogs will bark and many will get disturbed in wee hours of the morning but you will not get disturbed and can’t raise voice against them.”

Some people asked if the police had taken any action yet. Another suggested, “If it’s happening for the last few days, then wait up to 1st January. If it continues further, then request them to keep rooftop eating areas music free.”

Sushant Singh raised his voice against the late-night noise at the rooftop restaurant by sharing a video on X and tagging the Mumbai Police, drawing attention to the ongoing disturbance. Legally, playing amplified music past 10 pm in residential areas is restricted under the Noise Pollution Regulation and Control rules, making his complaint a clear reminder of the limits set for such laws.
