In an unexpected incident during a street shoot in Bangladesh's capital, Dhaka, a video of Bangladeshi girl and influencer Monika Kabir went viral on social media. A contentious internet discussion about public behaviour and reactions in crowded places was caused by the video, which shows Kabir chasing an elderly man and continually hitting him with her bag.

Here's what happened?

According to accounts, Kabir had been shooting a promotional video on the main Dhaka Road when the event happened. As she stood on the street throughout the shot, an old guy can be spotted passing her in the current viral footage. The man looked at her with intention as he went past, and his bag looked to brush against her. People in nearby areas were interested in what happened next.

As the camera continued to record the entire scene, Kabir quickly turned around, chased the man, and began hitting him with her bag. Later, Kabir posted the video on her Instagram account with the message, "Where beauty meets bravery." Step confidently into your day!"

Social media reactions

Users' reactions to the video were divided as it quickly went viral on social media. Some readers appreciated Kabir for responding right away rather than staying mute and said that women often face awkward or dangerous situations in public settings. Many others still disapproved of her answer, claiming that her physical reaction seemed extreme. Many people also noted that there was no clear proof of the man's deliberate act prior to the incident in the video. One social media user stated that rather than using physical force, she might have reported the situation to the police if she truly thought the man was acting inappropriately.

A user wrote, "Girl, calm down! Not every glance is an attack. Save the drama for something worth it." "He had to go between the bike and her; there was no narrow place. In fact, I'd take a glance if someone stood on a crowded road in attire like it's a red carpet. He took one glance with a fully curious face and left, and seeing this girl for a long time kept going back on him, hitting him aggressively.

This man tried as hard as he could to ignore her and not get affected intact that's something a man couldn't do. Resisting such brutal behaviour without any freaking reason," another wrote. "He did nothing. You are a girl that doesn't mean you can do anything" the third user wrote.
