A contentious internet discussion about public behaviour and reactions in crowded places was caused by the video, which shows Kabir chasing an elderly man and continually hitting him with her bag.

According to accounts, Kabir had been shooting a promotional video on the main Dhaka Road when the event happened. As she stood on the street throughout the shot, an old guy can be spotted passing her in the current viral footage. One social media user stated that rather than using physical force, she might have reported the situation to the police if she truly thought the man was acting inappropriately.
