A live Kick stream took an unexpected turn when streamer Clavicular abruptly ended a paid interview after being questioned about alleged links to investor Peter Thiel. Reporter Mika claims that she paid $15,000 for a 30-minute sit-down with Clavicular, whose real name is Braden Peters, but the conversation stopped the moment she raised rumours about Thiel.
During the interview, Clavicular accused Mika of being funded by Thiel and asked her to leave his house. Mika later claimed she had only brought up the topic because the speculation was widely discussed online. She also alleged that Clavicular’s team accused her of having blockchain ties to Thiel-backed groups but failed to provide proof. As of now, there is no confirmed evidence that Peter Thiel funds either Mika or Clavicular.
In a video posted on X (formerly Twitter) afterwards, Mika said, “I just got scammed by the internet’s biggest looks maxer. Okay, so I paid $15,000 to go and interview Clavicular for 30 minutes. That’s it, super short, in and out. And I wanted to ask him some questions about, like, his funding his business, and, of course, the rumours about him and Peter Thiel, because that is absolutely everywhere. But we do a little journalism. The second that I brought up Peter Thiel, he panicked. He then flipped it on me and then said I was the one funded by Peter Thiel.”
She further stated, “He said that his team did research on me and that there were blockchain ties from Thiel-funded parties to my wallet, but there’s zero proof of that, because it never happened. He literally couldn’t show one single receipt. Show me one receipt that I am Peter Thiel-funded or Peter Thiel-backed. I’ll wait.”
Clavicular responded on X after Mika posted, “I just got money mogged by Clavicular,” writing, “Thanks for the 15k of dark money and crypto scams. Scammer gets scammed.”
Mika later shares, “You charge $15,000 for 30 minutes, and then you can’t handle a single question, like the source; I just made it up, and then you’re calling me a scammer. But literally, what you just did is scamming, as nobody told me to do this. I went solo. I came alone.”

Last year, Peters said Peter Thiel invited him to his Hollywood Hills home. Some online users have speculated that a supporter known as “P” could be Thiel. However, neither Peters nor Thiel has confirmed any financial ties. The dispute currently remains a public exchange without verified documentation from either side.
