Residents across South Bengal continue to grapple with a spell of oppressive weather marked by high temperatures and rising humidity. The combination has made daily life uncomfortable, with the discomfort expected to persist through the rest of the week.
No relief from heat and humidity
The weather department has indicated that conditions are unlikely to improve anytime soon. Moisture levels in the air are set to rise further, which could make the atmosphere feel even more stifling. As humidity climbs, the perceived temperature or ‘real feel’ is also expected to go up, intensifying the discomfort.
