Tapan and his story with birds
Tapan, a resident of Sahapur, Kolaghat, has an affinity towards birds. He used to take care of injured and sick birds by taking them home, providing them with all the aid. When the birds got better, he used to leave them to the free sky. It has been eight years since he provided shelter to two baby parrots who were sick and injured. He expected them to fly off like other birds when they got alright, but they never did. He has even built a room for the birds that he rescues on the terrace of his house. He named the two birds Sonu and Sonai. A few days earlier, Sonu returned home, but Sonai did not, which led Tapan to write a sad post about it on Facebook.
The story of reunion
Tapan talked to his friends about Sonai not returning, when one of them suggested posting it on Facebook. Tapan took it to Facebook, writing about Sonai. The likes, comments and shares grew in numbers. After ten days, Tapan received a phone call that someone had spotted Sonai sitting on a house. The bird is not eating a single grain. Tapan rushed to the spot and found out his beloved bird. On approaching, Sonai started calling Tapan by his name. Tapan claims that he has raised Sonai like his own child, and he is very happy to be reunited with his beloved Sonai.
