The hearing process for the special intensive revision of the voter list begins on Saturday, December 27. The state Chief Electoral Officer's office has completed all preparations by Friday. Very few voters were issued notices for hearings in Diamond Harbour (143) and Falta (144) assembly constituencies in the South 24 Parganas district. The hearings for these two constituencies were completed on Friday, according to CEO office sources.
Hearing work will begin from Saturday morning in all 292 assembly constituencies of the state. The hearing work will be conducted at a total of 11 locations in each assembly area.
