A viral video has exposed the dark reality of London's public transport system where women have to face harassment on a daily basis. This video is being widely circulated on social media and is a chilling reminder of the fact that women's safety and dignity remain a perennial struggle.
In a crowded bus in London, a woman records the harassing act where it can be seen that the man seated beside her casually touches her hair despite knowing that his actions were being recorded on camera. In another montage, a man seated parallel to a woman gets up from his seat and comes pouting to kiss her only to hear the words "no, no...that's it". In a montage of moments further into the video, men can be seen staring at women in buses and metros without the slightest hint of hesitation or guilt in their eyes.

Outrage pours
This viral video has led to public outrage on social media with people debating on topics like "why are there no CCTVs and strict monitoring on public transport systems" and "how a modern city like London isn't safe for women".
People called the acts "repulsive, wrong, unnatural and a crime". Some called them "creeps" while another said, "I wish the women of England had guns to defend themselves against all the hostile illegals and anyone who wants to harm them. Guns are the great equaliser."
One person wrote, "Harassment is a creep problem, not a passport problem. London gets safer when we call it out, report fast, and back each other up like a queue with attitude."
Others claimed that "London has fallen".
