It should be noted that Palm Beach is known for its white sand beaches and luxurious mansions. This airport is located just a few minutes away from Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence.

This is not the first instance of an institution being renamed after Donald Trump. Last December, the board of Washington's Kennedy Center (the memorial complex of late President John F. Kennedy) voted in favor of renaming the center 'Trump-Kennedy Center'.
According to American media reports, Trump had previously attempted to rename New York's Penn Station and Washington's Dulles International Airport after himself. However, those efforts were unsuccessful.
