A video shows a man discovering a cage with a woman who says she is pregnant and asks for help. This clip is being wrongly shared as a disturbing scene from the 'Epstein Files' released by the US Justice Department, as reported by BOOM.
BOOM found that the footage to be fictional and coming from a horror film made by independent filmmakers Parker Haj and Chester Beckington. The video was first uploaded to the YouTube channel 'Life of Luxury' on April 5, 2025, stated the BOOM report.
This claim has become popular as public interest and anger has grown after documents related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein were released. The well-known case, which involves powerful political and business figures, often sparks conspiracy theories on social media.

Recently, the Ministry of External Affairs denied the mention of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's name in the documents, calling them "trashy ruminations by a convicted criminal".
What was the claim?
According to BOOM, a verified X user shared the video which was captioned, "Pregnant minors treated like animals and the world still debates 'proof'." Along with this, there was a hashtag linking it to Epstein Files. The video which was posted on February 9 had garnered more than 5.8 million views at the time of filing this report.

The findings
BOOM found that the video is a scripted segment from an independent horror production and does not relate to any real-world investigation.

Visuals traced to 'Life of Luxury': A reverse image search of keyframes using Google Lens led BOOM to a TikTok link titled "I Am The Vessel Life of Luxury Full Video". Following this lead, the team found the original, high-resolution version on the verified YouTube channel 'Life of Luxury,' uploaded on April 5, 2025. Visuals identical to the viral clip appear between the 0:28 and 0:40 marks of the original video.
Disclaimer confirms fictional content: The video description clearly states that the content is produced for "artistic purposes" and with an "intent to entertain". The production follows characters Parker and Chester as they investigate a "mysterious disappearance" in an abandoned house. According to the channel's profile, Luxury Productions Inc. makes independent films by Parker Haj and Chester Beckington.
