Pakistan claims 274 Taliban fighters killed in cross-border strikes

Pakistan has claimed that its recent strikes in Afghanistan have killed 274 Taliban fighters, according to the Director General of ISPR during a press conference.

Military spokesperson Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said on Friday that Pakistani air strikes targeted 22 Afghan military positions following intense overnight fighting between the two South Asian neighbours. He added that at least 12 Pakistani soldiers were killed, while 274 Taliban officials and militants have died since Thursday night.
