The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the JEE Main 2026 Answer Key for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) on February 4, 2026. The students who appeared in JEE Main Session 1 can now download the provisional answer key and the recorded responses from the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
With the release of the provisional answer key, the students can match their answers with the officially released solutions and estimate their performance even before the final result is announced.
Objection window opens today
Along with the release of the provisional answer key, the NTA has opened the window for objections to the answer key on February 4, 2026. The objections can be made till February 6, 2026. According to the official notification, the challenge window will remain open for 2-3 days.

To raise an objection, the candidates are required to pay a non-refundable processing fee of ₹200 per question. Only online objections made after successful payment will be entertained.
How will objections be reviewed?
All the challenges will be checked by experts in the subject, who will be nominated by the concerned authority. After this process, the final answer key will be prepared and published. The results of JEE Main will be calculated only on the basis of the final answer key. As per the schedule of the exam, the results of Session 1 will be announced on or before February 12, 2026.
Exam schedule recap
The JEE Main exam for Session 1 was conducted on January 21, 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29, 2026.
Paper 1 was conducted in two shifts on the first four days, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Paper 2 was conducted on the last day in a single shift from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
