The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the schedule for the release of the advance city intimation slip and admit card for the UGC NET June 2026 examination. Candidates who have registered for the test will be able to check their allotted exam city from June 10, while admit cards will be issued by June 15.

The UGC NET June 2026 examination will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode between June 22 and June 30 at examination centres across the country. The exam is one of the most important national-level eligibility tests for candidates seeking a career in teaching and research.

City intimation slip to be released on June 10

As per the NDTV, the official information bulletin, the advance city intimation slip will be made available by June 10. This document is issued ahead of the admit card and is meant to inform candidates about the city where their examination centre has been allotted.

The city slip does not serve as an entry pass to the examination hall. However, it allows candidates to make travel arrangements and plan their stay in advance, especially those appearing for the exam outside their hometown.

Candidates can download the city intimation slip from the official UGC NET website using their application number and password or date of birth.

Admit cards by June 15

The admit card for the June 2026 session is scheduled to be released by June 15. Unlike the city slip, the admit card contains complete details of the examination centre, including the exact address, reporting time, exam shift and important instructions for candidates.

The UGC NET examination will be conducted in a single session of three hours, or 180 minutes. There will be no break between Paper 1 and Paper 2, and candidates will be required to complete both papers in one sitting.
