UP Board results 2026 out: Class 10, 12 scores, pass percentage and key details here

Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad has announced Class 10 and 12 results. Students can check their scores online using their roll numbers.

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has announced the Class 10 and Class 12 board examination results today (April 23).

The board conducted the examinations between February 18 and March 12, 2026. A total of around 8,000 centres were used, including government, government-aided, and self-financed schools.

The result is already live. Board officials and the education minister hold a press conference to make the formal announcement. Following this, result links will be activated on two official websites - upmsp.edu.in and upresults.nic.in.

How to check your result

Students should go to the official result websites and find their class result link. Class 10 students click ā€œHigh Schoolā€, Class 12 click ā€œIntermediateā€. Enter your roll number and school code (if needed).

Fill the CAPTCHA shown on screen. Click ā€œSubmitā€ or ā€œView Resultā€. The marksheet will be appeared. Download and print it for later use.

Students can also access their results via SMS. For Class 12, they need to type ā€œUP12 Roll Numberā€ and send it to 56263. For Class 10, the format is ā€œUP10 Roll Numberā€ sent to the same number.

Grading system for class 10

Students are required to score at least 33% marks to qualify. Those who fail to meet this benchmark will be eligible to appear in compartment examinations.

Class 10 results follow a structured grading framework. Here is the Class 10 grading system in simple terms:

91-100 marks: A1 grade (10 points)

81-90 marks: A2 grade (9 points)

71-80 marks: B1 grade (8 points)

61-70 marks: B2 grade (7 points)

51-60 marks: C1 grade (6 points)

41-50 marks: C2 grade (5 points)

33-40 marks: D grade (4 points, minimum pass)

Last year's performance

Over 5.43 million students appeared for UP Board exams in 2025. Class 10 pass rate was 90.11%, while Class 12 had 81.15% as cited by NDTV. Students should download and print their marksheet. It will be needed later for studies and official work.

Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad has announced the results for Class 10 (High School) and Class 12 (Intermediate) examinations on April 23, 2026, at 4 PM. The results cover more than 52 lakh students across the state. The pass percentage stands at 90.42% for Class 10 and 80.38% for Class 12, as reported by NDTV.

Class 12 toppers

The top rank was secured by Shikha Verma from Sitapur with 97.60%.

Second rank was shared by Nandini Gupta from Bareilly and Shreya Verma, both scoring 97.20%. The third position included Surbhi Yadav from Bareilly and Pooja Pal from Barabanki, as cited by NDTV.
