The Department of Management Studies at JIS University organised a two-day International Management Literary Conclave 2026, focusing on the theme "The Entangled Social Fabric: Future Managerial Leadership and Organisational Dynamics Through Quantum Mechanism".
The event explored contemporary management challenges through the lens of quantum thinking, complexity science and emerging technological developments.

The conclave featured keynote addresses, panel discussions, case study workshops, student-led film presentations and interactive sessions. The discussions centred on evolving leadership models, organisational dynamics and the role of interdisciplinary approaches in shaping future management practices.
Participation from academics and industry
The programme witnessed the presence of several dignitaries from academia, government and industry. Among those attending were Atri Bhattacharya, Additional Chief Secretary, Sunderban Affairs department, Government of West Bengal; Padma Shri Prof. Ajoy Kumar Ray, Director, JIS Institute of Advanced Studies & Research; Shiv Siddhant Kaul, Managing Director, Nicco Engineering Services Ltd. and Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Kolkata; and Sardar Taranjit Singh, Managing Director, JIS Group and Chancellor, JIS University.
Other participants included several institutional leaders and faculty members.
Student-led presentations and discussions
A key segment of the conclave was "Kalpana Katha 'o' Kahini II", which featured student-led film presentations on the theme "Science, Religion and its Impact on Business Management". The session was followed by workshops and discussions examining how interdisciplinary ideas can influence organisational decision-making and leadership strategies.

The event concluded with a valedictory session that emphasised interdisciplinary learning and critical thinking in management education.
