The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the city intimation slip for JEE Main Session 1 2026 in the first week of January 2026. As per the official update, the slip will inform candidates about the city where their examination centre will be located.
The admit cards for JEE Main 2026 will be issued 3 to 4 days before the exam date. JEE Main Session 1 is scheduled to be conducted between January 21 and January 30, 2026, in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. The results for the first session will be announced by February 12, 2026.
JEE Main schedule
JEE Main is conducted in two sessions every year, one in January and the other in April. JEE Main Session 2 is scheduled from April 1 to April 10, 2026. The results for Session 2 will be announced by April 20, 2025.
Registrations for JEE Main Session 2 will be held between April 2 and April 9, 2026. NTA will release detailed information related to the registration process separately.

The JEE Main January 2026 admit card is expected to be released in the first week of January 2026, around three to four days before the examination.
The JEE Main 2026 Session 1 exam will be conducted between January 21 and January 30, 2026.
After the exam, the provisional answer key is likely to be released in February 2026, followed by the answer key challenge period in the same month.
The final JEE Main 2026 answer key will also be published in February 2026, while the Session 1 result is scheduled to be announced on February 12, 2026.

Candidates who qualify for JEE Main will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2026. JEE Advanced is scheduled for May 17, 2026, and will be held in two shifts. Paper 1 will take place from 9 am to 12 pm, while Paper 2 will be conducted from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The registration process for JEE Advanced will begin on April 23, 2026.

Then need to log in using their application number and date of birth.
JEE Main city intimation will appear on the screen.
