The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is expected to declare the Civil Services Preliminary Examination (CSE) 2026 results in the coming days, with candidates across the country closely tracking updates on the official website.

According to available information, the UPSC Prelims Result 2026 is likely to be announced by June 15 on upsc.gov.in. The result will be released in PDF format containing the roll numbers of candidates who have qualified for the next stage of the recruitment process.

The Civil Services Preliminary Examination was conducted on May 24 at examination centres across the country. The test was held in two shifts in offline mode using OMR sheets. General Studies Paper I was conducted in the morning session, followed by the Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) Paper II in the afternoon.

This year witnessed strong participation from aspirants nationwide. Around 8.19 lakh candidates registered for the examination against approximately 933 vacancies. Of them, nearly 5.49 lakh candidates appeared for the test, resulting in an attendance rate of around 67 per cent.

Candidates whose roll numbers appear in the result PDF will qualify for the Civil Services Main Examination, the second stage of the prestigious recruitment process.
