The action-packed trailer quickly became popular online and crossed more than one lakh views within just a few hours of release.
The trailer shows intense action scenes, powerful dialogues and the return of Ranveer Singh as Jaskirat Singh Rangi. The trailer hints that he could become the next ‘Lyari ka badshah’ (king). In the first film, he played an Indian spy who entered a Baloch gang led by Akshaye Khanna’s character Rahman Dakait.

Dhurandhar 2 has created several global box office records during its successful theatrical run. The film became the fastest Indian movie to earn Rs 500 crore worldwide in just three days. It also crossed the Rs 1000 crore mark globally within seven days of release.
As per the Indian Express reports, the film has also become the highest-grossing Indian movie in several continents. In North America alone, Dhurandhar 2 earned around $22.9 million, which is more than Rs 220 crore. The strong international collection shows the film’s huge popularity among audiences across the world.
While the first part of the film is streaming worldwide on Netflix, the makers have chosen a different release plan for Dhurandhar 2. The sequel will start streaming on Netflix tonight in most countries except India.
In India, the film will release on JioHotstar. However, the platform has not officially confirmed whether the movie will stream tonight or release after the IPL final on May 31.
