As per multiple industry reports, Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge will stream on JioHotstar after its theatrical run. This also marks a shift, as the first film was released on Netflix. The streaming partner of Dhurandhar 2, JioHotstar, is strategically timing the release to avoid competing with the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026.
The platform is expected to wait until the tournament concludes to premiere the film, ensuring it gets an undivided viewer's attention and a clear promotional window.

While there is no official announcement yet, trade insiders suggest that the film is likely to premiere either in the last week of May 2026 or the first week of June 2026. The timing, however, is not random.
The Economic Times quoted Abhishek Ranjit as saying, “Dhurandhar: The Revenge is slated to premiere on Jio Hotstar after the culmination of IPL 2026. The film will be released online for streaming in the last week of May or the first week of June 2026, which depends on the programming schedule of JioHotstar”
Cast lineup
The film stars Ranveer Singh in the lead role of an undercover agent, Hamza Ali Mazari. The star cast lineup. It also includes Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi. The film is written and directed by Aditya Dhar, who also directed the first instalment.
The story continues the journey of Ranveer Singh's character, Jaskirat Singh Rangi, who becomes the undercover agent Hamza Ali Mazari. The plot follows him as he goes deeper into the criminal underworld of Karachi to dismantle a terror network.
