In his latest stand-up show released on Tuesday, Samay Raina spoke about the big question everyone was asking: whether his YouTube show will return or not. Addressing that he said,“Rahi baat India’s Got Talent ki—log puchhte rehte hain mujhe ki kya yeh show wapas aayega.”
He added, “Maine bahut socha iss baare mein, I swear to God. I don’t think isse high point pe mera show end ho sakta tha”. He added let me rephrase that and said, “I don’t think isse high point pe mera show ka Season 1 end ho sakta tha.”
This line made audience go wild and people started clapping and applauding loudly.
Confirming the comeback, Samay said, “Show toh main laaunga bhai kyunki maza aata tha woh show karne mein. Main chahta hoon main ekdum wild show karoon. Internet mein ekdum softy version daalenge. I want to do a wild, wild show.”
What happened last time
India’s Got Latent, a roast-style talent show, got into trouble in February 2025 after an episode with Ranveer Allahbadia, Apoorva Mukhija and Ashish Chanchlani had made many people upset. A question in the show led to heavy criticism and police complaints.

After this, Samay made all the episodes private on YouTube. The people involved also faced criticism and online threats, and the issue became widely spoken over the internet.
Later, in a promotional video, Samay Raina admitted that he felt bad for not removing a certain part earlier from his content. He shared his regret and said, “Kai baar unwanted cheezein reh jaati hai life mein... jisko baad mein dekhke regret karte ho ke kaash maine uss time yeh kat diya hota... par bahut der ho gai hoti hai.”
He also joked about taking away the audience’s phones and asking contestants bold “would you rather” questions.
