Amid ongoing chatter about her absence from the screening of Dhurandhar: The Revenge, Deepika Padukone has addressed speculation around her so-called “silent treatment” on husband Ranveer Singh’s latest release.

The film, which hit theatres on March 19, has been performing strongly at the box office and receiving praise from audiences and industry insiders. Ranveer Singh’s performance, in particular, has drawn widespread attention.

A witty response to online chatter

Questions began circulating online after Deepika did not attend the Mumbai screening or post publicly about the film’s success. Responding to a social media reel that suggested her silence might be deliberate, the actor dismissed the speculation with a sharp remark.
