The South American giants continued to create opportunities throughout the second half. Vinicius remained a constant threat down the left flank, while Lucas Paqueta, Bruno Guimaraes and Douglas Santos helped maintain pressure on the Haitian defence.
One of the major highlights came during the match, where Endrick almost scored the fourth goal by being played through by Rayan. The youngster nutmegged the goalkeeper Alexandre Placide and put in an amazing finish, but the celebrations did not last long because of the offside flag raised.

Despite trailing, Haiti refused to sit back and continued pressing high up the pitch. Their switch back to a familiar 4-4-2 formation brought greater energy and helped them compete better in midfield.
A dangerous run from Bellegarde nearly opened up the Brazilian defence before Marquinhos produced a crucial sliding challenge to deny a shot on goal. Haiti also threatened from set-pieces, forcing Brazil into some desperate defending.
The closest Haiti came saw Ade meet a corner with a powerful header that Alisson could only push into the air. As the ball looped dangerously toward goal, Danilo produced a stunning acrobatic clearance on the line to preserve Brazil’s advantage.
Ancelotti rotates with one eye on next challenge
With Brazil in control, Ancelotti began making changes. Vinicius Junior was replaced by Danilo Santos, while Bruno Guimaraes made way for Ederson Silva. Later, Cunha was withdrawn before he could chase a hat-trick, with Gabriel Martinelli entering the match.

The loudest reception of the evening, however, was reserved for Endrick, whose introduction was greeted by what commentators described as an “ABSOLUTE ROARING RECEPTION”.
With Morocco having earlier defeated Scotland to move to four points, a Brazilian victory would see Ancelotti’s men climb to the top of Group C and strengthen their hopes of reaching the knockout rounds.
