A few days after allegedly murdering his classmate, aged 25, in Madhya Pradesh's Indore, Piyush Dhanotia, the accused, did not show any sign of worry or remorse when asked what drove him to commit the crime. Piyush has been arrested for the alleged rape and murder of his classmate and the circulation of the video of the assault in the college's WhatsApp group.
The partially-decomposed body of the classmate was found in Indore on Friday. The additional deputy police commissioner, Dishesh Agrawal, said the suspect is from Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh, reported Hindustan Times.
When asked about interrogation, the Deputy Ccommissioner of Police, Shrikrishna Lalchandani, said Piyush had confessed to strangling the woman and then "mistreated" her body, reported Hindustan Times.

The details of the crime were so gruesome that the female sub-inspector in-charge began to cry. However, Piyush appeared to be in no such condition. He did not show any signs of remorse while speaking to the reporters.
A video of him has surfaced online in which he smiles when asked why he killed the woman. Showing no remorse, the accused said, "Whatever had to happen has happened. What will you do by knowing now?"
When reporters kept asking for a reason, he replied, "Let the time come, I will tell everyone."

Shocking crime details
According to the investigators, Dhanotia confessed to strangling his classmate on February 10 and then fleeing after locking his rented room from the inside.
The 25-year-old woman had gone missing on February 10. The next day, two videos of her with a man were shared on the WhatsApp group of their college. The woman's face was clearly visible in the videos, but the man's face was not clear.
On Friday, people reported a foul smell emanating from the accused's room. The police had to break the door open as it was locked from the inside. Inside the room, they found the body of the missing woman, which was already half-decomposed.
More shocking news came to light when it was disclosed that the accused had performed witchcraft to reach the spirit of the missing woman.
