A young man shot his female classmate and then took his own life on Monday at Mai Bhago Law College in Tarn Taran district, Punjab. Both students, identified as Prince Raj and Sandeep Kaur, died in the incident. Prince hailed from Malliyan village, while Sandeep was from Naushera Pannuan.

A video of the incident has circulated online. However, News Ei Samay has not verified the authenticity of the clip. According to the footage, Prince first fired at Sandeep and then turned the gun on himself. Both were rushed to a hospital but were declared dead by doctors.
CCTV shows classroom shooting unfolding
CCTV footage reportedly shows Prince entering the classroom with a bag on his back. He first speaks with Sandeep and another female classmate before moving to the back of the classroom. At that point, he allegedly turned his back to them, pulled out a gun, and shot Sandeep, who collapsed to the ground, and then shot himself. The incident caused chaos in the classroom.

Investigation underway
The motive behind Prince's actions remains unclear. Police have arrived at the college and are examining CCTV footage. They are also interrogating classmates to gather more information about the circumstances leading to this tragic event.
