Washington road accident claims lives of Andhra Pradesh couple, two children hospitalised

An Indian couple from Palakollu, Andhra Pradesh, died in a car accident in Washington just days after returning to the US, leaving their two children seriously injured.

Just ten days ago, they had returned home and then went back to their workplace in America. There, an Indian couple lost their lives in a tragic accident. The couple were actually residents of Palakollu town in Andhra Pradesh. Krishna Kishore (45) was working in America as a software engineer. He lived there with his wife Asha (40). They lost their lives in a car accident in Washington. At that time, their 2 children were also with them. They were seriously injured in the accident.

According to news agency sources, the husband and wife died at the scene. Members of the rescue team rescued their two children. They took the two to a local hospital.

As soon as news of the incident reached them, the entire family was devastated with grief, and neighbors were also saddened. The couple had come to their hometown just a few days ago. They had returned to America from India about ten days ago. According to a report by a national news media, on their return journey, they had a layover in Dubai. There they celebrated the English New Year. Then came this news of death, leaving family and friends grief-stricken.

In this incident, the Telugu community of Washington and the Telugu Association of North America (TANA) are looking after the couple's two children. The organization is maintaining contact with family members in India. They are discussing the treatment of the two children and bringing the couple's bodies back to India. Efforts are underway to contact the American administration on behalf of the family. How the couple's two children are doing is now their main concern.
