India on Saturday issued an advisory for passengers stranded at airports in the United Arab Emirates after flights were disrupted amid escalating tensions in West Asia following the United States, Israel and Iran conflict.
The Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi said it was coordinating with UAE authorities and airlines to assist Indian travellers affected by the temporary disruption in air traffic.
In a statement issued late Saturday, the embassy said officials were monitoring the situation closely and working with local authorities to ensure support for stranded passengers.

“The Embassy and Consulate are in touch with the UAE authorities and airlines for taking care of the Indian passengers stranded at the airports in UAE due to temporary and precautionary airspace closure,” the advisory said.
Air travel across parts of the Gulf region has faced disruptions after several countries imposed precautionary airspace restrictions following the latest military developments in West Asia. The measures have led to delays, cancellations and diversions of flights operating through key transit hubs such as Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Airports in the UAE serve as major transit points for Indian passengers travelling between India, Europe and North America. A large number of travellers rely on these hubs for connecting flights.
Embassy coordinating with airlines
According to the advisory, the UAE government and airline authorities have assured full cooperation in assisting affected passengers.
The Indian mission urged travellers to stay in contact with their respective airlines for updated flight schedules and further instructions.
Officials said embassy staff are in communication with airport authorities and airlines to monitor developments and provide assistance where required. While authorities have not specified the number of Indian passengers affected, officials indicated that the situation is being handled through coordination between diplomatic missions, airline operators and UAE authorities.
The advisory comes as tensions in the region continue to affect aviation routes across West Asia, a key global transit corridor for international air travel.
