The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Friday announced that the re-examination for NEET (UG) 2026 will be held on June 21.
The announcement was made through the agency’s official X handle. According to NTA, the decision to conduct the re-exam was taken with the approval of the Government of India.
“National Testing Agency has decided to conduct the re-examination of NEET (UG) 2026 on Sunday, 21 June 2026,” the agency said in its post.

The fresh schedule comes after the earlier NEET-UG 2026 examination was cancelled, leaving lakhs of medical aspirants waiting for clarity on the revised exam date.
