Four days after ordering a high-level internal inquiry, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has said it has not received any complaints through its internal channels regarding the allegations under investigation at its Nashik BPO unit.
Preliminary review finds no complaints
In a statement issued Friday, CEO and MD K Krithivasan was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times, "While detailed reviews are still underway, a preliminary review of the systems and records from the Nashik unit indicates that we have not received any complaints of the nature that are being alleged on either our ethics or POSH channels."

The allegations, including sexual harassment and religious coercion, are currently being probed by a Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Nashik police.
Clarification on employee role
The company also addressed reports surrounding Nida Khan, a process associate who was suspended on April 9.
The statement clarified that Khan "who is being repeatedly mentioned in the press as HR manager of TCS, is neither an HR manager nor responsible for recruitment. She served as a process associate and did not hold any leadership responsibilities".
TCS said it has brought in external expertise to support the internal inquiry. It has "engaged the services of expert teams from Deloitte and a prominent law firm Trilegal as independent counsel to the internal investigation led by Aarthi Subramanian, president and COO, TCS".

An oversight committee chaired by independent director Keki Mistry has also been set up to review the findings and oversee implementation of recommendations.
Police search and parallel probes
Meanwhile, Nashik police continue to search for Khan, who has been named in one of the nine FIRs. Authorities said multiple teams are working to trace her whereabouts.
"During the investigation, Nida Khan's husband was taken into custody within the jurisdiction of the Mumbra police station for questioning," police said, adding that her location could not be confirmed as phones of both the accused and relatives were switched off.
