The trailer for Street Fighter dropped on Thursday. Indian action star Vidyut Jammwal stars alongside Jason Momoa, Noah Centineo, and Andrew Koji in this Hollywood action film. The makers released it promising the fight of a lifetime.
Directed by Kitao Sakurai, the film is scheduled to release in theatres on October 16. The trailer features highly stylised action sequences. It stays true to the video game's look and feel - goofy and shocking at the same time.
Plot and cast
The story is set in 1993. Ryu (Andrew Koji) and Ken Masters (Noah Centineo) are estranged fighters. They are pulled back into combat by the mysterious Chun-Li (Callina Liang) for the World Warrior Tournament - a brutal clash of fists, fate, and fury. A deadly conspiracy lurks behind the tournament, forcing the two to fight each other and face their painful pasts.

The cast also includes Roman Reigns as Akuma, David Dastmalchian as M.
