The opposition alleges that in Uttar Pradesh, accused individuals are subjected to encounters instead of being brought to court. The controversy over this is at its peak. At the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit on Saturday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath further fueled this controversy by saying, "Those who play with women's honor will be sent straight to Yamraj." Not only that, he also claimed that Uttar Pradesh is set to become a $1 trillion state very soon.

Yogi warned that there would be dire consequences for those who play with the honor of mothers and sisters. His clear statement was, "Those who play games with the safety of our women, Yamraj will be waiting for them. They will be given a direct ticket to hell. Criminals should be made to understand in their own language. And that's exactly what we are doing."

Yogi also taunted criminals as a "burden on the system." He stated plainly, "Those who are a burden on the system, the world must be freed from this burden. Zero tolerance on this matter." He also claimed that Uttar Pradesh is now mafia-free.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi hoisted the flag at the Ram Temple in November itself. Yogi was also present at that ceremony. He said, "After 500 years, the Ram Temple has been constructed. Three generations have been associated with this movement. As Chief Minister, I am fortunate. This is my duty towards my tradition, country and religion." After the Ram Temple, there is extensive discussion about Kashi's Gyanvapi and Mathura's Krishna Janmabhoomi as well. Yogi's statement on this is clear, "We are everywhere. We will reach everywhere."

The central government has set a target of becoming a $5 trillion economy by 2027 and a $30 trillion economy by 2047. Yogi has also linked Uttar Pradesh to this. According to him, "This goal is achievable only if the country's most populous state progresses. Uttar Pradesh is moving towards becoming a $1 trillion economy in 2029-30 and a $6 trillion economy state by 2047."
