The losing streak for KKR is not getting any moment to stop. On Friday evening, KKR came into the field with one change in the squad, but again failed to march past 200 runs, in the flat pitch of Narendra Modi Stadium, KKR played full 20 overs and only able to put 180 runs on the board after getting all out, captain Rahane disappointed again as he get caught on the first ball of Mohammad Siraj as Rahane hammered the ball straight into the hands of Kagiso Rabada.

KKR’s 180 runs came with the help of Cameron Green’s 79 runs innings of 55 balls. That was his first fifty of the season. In modern-day cricket, making 79 runs in 55 balls might sound weird, but it is the harsh truth of KKR for this season.

The calibre Green brings that innings might help him to come back in form, but that performance did not come good for the team.

Is Green worth 25.20 Crore?

With no doubt, the Aussie all-rounder is one of the finest players of his generation, and undoubtedly, he is one of the main pillars of the new Aussie set-up, but his form from the last Ashes, when he came back in the team, has not gone well. Sometimes teams try to bet on a player because it is what makes a player good, but it is also true that with great power comes great responsibility. KKR has bought him for a huge amount as a replacement for Andre Russell, and this year, he failed miserably.

Previously, Shane Watson had bad seasons in the IPL, but he also came back stronger. His 79 runs are a good sign as he is coming back into the rhythm.
