The Mumbai Indians are set to play their historic 300th T20 match against the Kolkata Knight Riders, and the team looks far more settled this season. After years of rebuilding and inconsistency, MI now have a balanced squad, giving captain Hardik Pandya a strong opportunity to end the five-year title drought.

Hardik Pandya will rely on a strengthened batting unit, with Quinton de Kock returning and Ryan Rickelton in good form. This gives Rohit Sharma more freedom at the top. Suryakumar Yadav is also in excellent touch after guiding India to the 2026 T20 World Cup title.
