Noida International Airport (NIA) in Jewar has officially opened, marking a major addition to India’s aviation network. The passenger experience begins with a well-planned parking system that can accommodate up to 1,200 cars, located right in front of the terminal.
Unlike older airports where long walks are common, this design keeps everything close and convenient. Lifts and escalators are placed strategically to help passengers move easily with heavy luggage, ensuring a smooth start to the journey.

Single terminal, digital-first experience
The airport follows a simple, easy-to-navigate structure with a single integrated terminal. Departures are handled on the upper level, while arrivals take place on the lower level. This removes confusion often caused by multiple terminals. The airport also focuses heavily on digital convenience.
Entry gates are equipped with Digi Yatra, allowing biometric and contactless access. Passengers can use self-check-in kiosks and bag-drop counters for a faster process, with a target of completing check-in within 10 minutes. Full-service airline counters are also available for those who prefer assistance.

Comfortable boarding and future expansion
After security, passengers can access 10 boarding gates along with dedicated bus lounges for certain flights, all designed with comfortable seating. The airport starts with a capacity of 12 million passengers annually but has ambitious expansion plans. By 2040, it aims to handle up to 70 million travellers with multiple runways.
Located along the Yamuna Expressway, the airport offers smooth, signal-free connectivity to Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, and Agra, making travel easier and faster.
