US President Donald Trump has come into focus again after controversial remarks made during a question-and-answer session at the Future Investment Initiative in Miami.

During the interaction, it was stated by Trump that he prefers to be around losing people, saying, “I always like to hang around with losers, actually, because it makes me feel better. I hate guys who are very, very successful, and you have to listen to their success stories. I like people who like to listen to my success," The remarks quickly went viral on social media.

Remarks on success and failure

Referring to sports, it was explained by Donald Trump that winners and losers can be identified more quickly in games than in other areas of life, stating that in games it is easy to understand who is winning or losing, whereas in other aspects it takes a much longer time to determine.

Soon after making these comments, it was clarified by Donald Trump in a lighter tone that the statement was not entirely serious, adding that he was just kidding and that leadership becomes much easier when one is successful.

During the same session, it was claimed by Donald Trump that he does not avoid questions from journalists, stating that he is not like those politicians who avoid questions.

He further encouraged open interaction, stating that journalists could ask any question, even on topics such as sex, and that they were free to ask whatever they wanted.
